Marc Worob, DDS

Marc WorobDr. Marc Worob practices dentistry because he believes patients should have high quality dental care offered in a gentle and caring manner – for smiles that last a lifetime.

Dr. Worob attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1979, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

He is a past president of the Central Texas Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Academy of Dental Practice Administration and the Pankey Institute Alumni Association and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Worob stays up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry by attending dental seminars around the country, being involved in two local study clubs and reading scientific journals as well as online resources. He has more than 3,000 hours of post-graduate clinical education since 1979 and as a result, earned a prestigious Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Worob has also been on the board of, and actively involved in, several non-profit organizations. He is one of the founders of the American Center for Dental Professionals, a dental training institute located in Austin, Texas and a founding partner in Healthy Sleep Texas. This division of his office allows him to ensure that each Sleep Apnea diagnosis and treatment plan is accomplished with the precision and dedication you can trust. Having undergone extensive training in the field of dental sleep medicine, he is able to provide this level of care to all patients when needed.

He has also been selected by his peers as an outstanding practicing dentist and named on the Super Dentists® list published in a special advertising section of Texas Monthly. This is his 5th year in a row he has been selected for this yearly publication.

Dr. Worob is a native Austinite. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Phyllis and their two sons, Nathan and Mitchell.

Elyse Cronin Barron

Dr. Elyse Cronin Barron is a firm believer that a healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand.  She is interested in the art and science of educating families on how to keep their smiles beautiful and brilliant for a lifetime!  She strives to make every visit to the dentist an enjoyable one by treating each patient with warmth and compassion.

Dr. Barron began her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin and she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in Seattle.  She graduated from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry in 2008 before moving back to Austin.

She is active within the dental community as a participating member of the Capital Area Dental Society (CADS), Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the local branch of the Seattle Study Club

Elyse can also be found at her church, the Fellowship in Round Rock.  She teaches Sunday School and participates in LEGS, the church’s women’s running group.

Dr. Barron finds her rejuvenation in the outdoors whether it’s running, camping climbing or basking in the Texas sunshine. Her children Kinsley and Zane keep her busy playing supermom, otherwise known as chef, chauffeur, teacher, medic, playmate and professional hugger. Cade her husband and best friend keeps his lovely wife sane with his not-so-funny puns and never ending support in all her crazy endeavors.
